Wills and Kate here are hosting a holiday party for, and I quote the palace, “families and children of deployed personnel from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham serving in Cyprus” and OMG KATE WENT SO FESTIVE. I love it. It’s EXTREMELY THEMATIC but what do you expect from a woman whose mother owns a party planning empire? If you’re hosting a Christmas party, HOST THAT PARTY LIKE YOU MEAN IT.
(For those of you who, like me, always long for a plaid skirt, hers is Emilia Wickstead; the cropped [!] sweater is by Brora. I have this insane cropped cardi from J.Crew and I wear it more than I thought I would, so I’m here to vouch for the cropped sweater as a concept, especially if you find that you now own more high-waisted things than you used to.)
