Wills and Kate here are hosting a holiday party for, and I quote the palace, “families and children of deployed personnel from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham serving in Cyprus” and OMG KATE WENT SO FESTIVE. I love it.  It’s EXTREMELY THEMATIC but what do you expect from a woman whose mother owns a party planning empire? If you’re hosting a Christmas party, HOST THAT PARTY LIKE YOU MEAN IT.

(For those of you who, like me, always long for a plaid skirt, hers is Emilia Wickstead; the cropped [!] sweater is by Brora. I have this insane cropped cardi from J.Crew and I wear it more than I thought I would, so I’m here to vouch for the cropped sweater as a concept, especially if you find that you now own more high-waisted things than you used to.)

Speaking of very festive, this gentleman looks extremely chic in a classic red and white suit:

It seems that this party was the hottest club in London, in that it had everything. We’ve got snowball fights…

Crafts…

Speeches…

Princes beaming at ladies while they speak publicly/extremely cute babies:

Silly party hats and thematic snacks!

CANDIES!

And, I assume, excellent swag bags.
