This post was requested by several readers in the comments of this week’s Fugs & Pieces, and I am happy to oblige, as this is one of my own favorite topics of conversation! I had linked to a piece called What to Wear on a Plane at Condé Nast Traveller, and noted it was VERY jogger heavy. I get wearing joggers on a plane but I personally (as I also noted) wear these Eileen Fisher numbers as my Plane Pants. (I just thought about it and I basically do not wear joggers outside the house but no shade if you’re a Plane Jogger Enthusiast.) I also just bought these and think they might work as Plane Pants for when I want to look more polished. (I think they actually look better in person than on the model.) My top situation varies, but I always have a giant scarf in my carry-on because I absolutely will be cold at some point. What’s your go-to plane outfit?
