This is an annual post for us — see 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 (I apparently dropped the ball in 2023, I’m sorry!) — and I have to confess that I almost didn’t write it this year because I’m real depressed about the state of the earth right now. But then I decided that throwing up my hands and being like, “welp, there’s nothing we can do anymore” is not helpful, and maybe someone in Fug Nation does have useful and interesting suggestions and/or thoughts — or at least won’t be as much of a bummer as I am.
