When I looked up the plot of Love and Death, I was like, “Wait, didn’t Jessica Biel JUST make this?” She did, and it was called Candy, and it aired on Hulu. The main difference, other than the cast, is that Jessica Biel wore a crazy wig. Otherwise, it doesn’t sound like David E. Kelley’s version adds anything to the conversation other than his name. Still, we at least get Kirsten Dunst and Kaley Cuoco at the premiere supporting their partners, and that’s always fun. Sadly, Michelle Pfeiffer did not join the party. Maybe SHE was at home watching Candy.
