Objectively, I think this outfit is basically good — especially for an event at Tiffany. It’s giving luxe, rich 80s Judith Krantz heroine, up to and including a slightly confusing sleeve situation. (Krantz books always describe at least one outfit where you’re like, “wait, Judith, rewind. She’s wearing what?”) Everything goes Pirate Cuffs around her wrists and it’s both perplexing and a fire hazard. HOWEVER, someone at Tiffany is looking at these promo photos and groaning. “UGH, the carpet,” they’re muttering to themselves, “it’s making everyone GREEN. Better make a note of that for next time, Brian.”
