We haven’t really seen Will since the Oscars disaster, but he has a movie to promote — Emancipation — and so he and Jada duly showed up to promotional duties. It’s been, in fact, almost 9 months since The Slap. Roughly the gestational period of a whole baby. Is it a symbolic rebirth? TIME WILL TELL. I am curious if this would have been in the awards conversation if all that hadn’t happened.
