Yes, Olivia Benson is ALSO, technically, a nepo baby (on both sides!). My Mom, Jayne is her documentary about her mom, bombshell actress Jayne Mansfield, and I’m sure it was a labor of love. It also seems that Mariska is very much loved, given how many people came out to support her directorial debut. Like, Cher came! (I also love Mariska, but just from years of seeing her look really concerned and very competent on TV.) Carrie-Anne Moss, who NEVER comes to stuff unless contractually required because she is VERY lo-pro, came! Diane Sawyer came! I am sure I missed people, too. It’s nice to see someone I personally really want to be nice IRL seemingly extremely supported by friends and co-stars!
I wonder if Mariska dress belonged to her mother? It has the right vibe, but I haven’t seen any reporting about this yet.
