Yesterday was, as you know, Memorial Day here in the United States — as well as a bank holiday in the UK — and thus kicks open the traditional season of Beach Reads for those of us here in this hemisphere. We’re always interested to know what you are reading right now. As for me, I’ve got Mrs:A Novel waiting for me at the library for pickup today, and yesterday I zipped through The Perfect Nanny, which was quick and chilling and very well-written (but not for you if you have a sensitivity to books in which kids are murdered, although it is not gory and also that happens in the very first line of the book so it’s not a spoiler). What are you enjoying at the moment?
