Of the dueling Elizabeth Holmes projects, Hulu’s arrives first: Amanda Seyfriend’s project about the Theranos founder debuts today, about 9 months or so before we get a load of Jennifer Lawrence’s version for Apple TV+. It’s good, in the end, that we’ll get an amount of time between them that probably will blunt a lot of the direct comparisons and just let the projects be what they are. There’s plenty of room for you both. We got two contemporaneous Arethas, two Alexander the Greats, two Capotes; we can do two Holmeses. There’s plenty of eyeliner and dead eyes and deep-voiced weirdness to go around.
