It’s nice that people really turned it out at the Mel Brooks celebration — I can rattle off so many of his movies by heart, and he deserves all the fab and none of the fug. However, seeing a small collection of ladies Mel has worked with over the years (Poehler excepted, I think, right, which is a damn shame) made me miss Madeline Kahn so much. She was everything.
