Christian Cowan dressed both Ben Platt and Saweetie at the Met Gala last Monday, to mixed effect (I liked the latter, but not the former). It’s a name we’re seeing more and more, so we should probably take a look at what else might make its way onto the red carpet. He told Vogue the idea for this show was that New York nightlife is very much alive and well, and that all these women are headed to the same big party. That, at least, comes through loud and clear.
