When I think of Halpern, I always think of this Marion Cotillard outfit from 2017, which she wore right after her Dior contract expired and which therefore felt a LOT like a woman celebrating having wings again. (It makes me sad that she turned around and adopted so much Chanel, but whatever, we’ll work through it together.) There’s a lot of that familiar disco party vibe herein, I’m pleased to report, even if it’s hit-or-miss. What fashion show isn’t, anyway? I am itching to see 13, 25, and 28 on someone.
