First of all, this photo taught me that the New York Times’s The 1619 Project is now a documentary series on Hulu, which is certainly news we can use. Second, I love Tracie Thoms; she (and Angela Bassett and Aisha Hinds) kept me watching 9-1-1 at least two or three episodes longer than I might have otherwise — but please let me know when that show goes back to, like, burying people in deadly corn kernels or having them choke on their friends cremains or being surprised by lava exploding at their pool parties.
