Every review of this show — the second one without Tom Ford at the helm of his brand — basically said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and I think that is wise. I think it’s why Carolina Herrera has thrived under Wes Gordon, too. If the brand is strong, it doesn’t need a creative director to trample it with their own ego. At LEAST not all at once, in a stampede.
