The tip sheet for this event said Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, and Michaela Coel were going to be there, in addition to these fine people, and yet none of them walked the red carpet (though two out of three did pop by inside). This is why I am grateful for the Addison Raes of the world, who WILL walk that carpet, even if they’re doing it in a skirtload of WTF. Maybe even especially then.
