I guess it’s not like the Writers Guild’s awards are ever the highest profile of them all, but I feel like we left awards season behind us with the Oscars, and it must have been a challenge to get hyped for another one after a whole month. If you’re curious, the winners were The Holdovers, American Fiction, Succession, The Last of Us, The Bear, Beef, and episodes of Succession and The Simpsons and Poker Face. Oh, and Jen D’Angelo won for Quiz Lady, which is exciting! And Erika Alexander continued her swerve out of lively florals and into DRAMA.
