Last year, I noted that it was ballsy of the New York Film Critics Circle to schedule their awards the literal day after the Globes on the opposite coast; this year, they gave everyone an extra 24 hours to get their lives in order. (Having said that, we didn’t get a ton of overlap between the two, at least not on the red carpet.)
