First and foremost, I just want to say that I am loving this season of Insecure so far (although I haven’t watched last night’s episode yet). I also meant to link to this great interview with the show’s costume designer in last week’s Fugs & Pieces, and totally forgot, so I’m excited to be able to do it now. In addition to being sincerely funny, I find Insecure to be so adept at female friendships, and it’s the only show that is filmed in Los Angeles that truly feels like Los Angeles to me. It also — and this is important — has REALLY good blazers. Finally, is it possible that I am writing this post in part because I want to talk about whether or not Lawrence and Issa should get back together? MAYBE.
But there are also clothes to discuss.
