I’m not sure I can ever seriously refer to these as “The MTV Movie and TV Awards,” versus its old name, the MTV Movie Awards. I’m not ungrateful that MTV added my favorite genre, even if they likely did it only to increase its odds of, say, a Game of Thrones cast member attending, but it feels very shoehorned-in — besides which, MTVMTVAs is a real clunker of an acronym. It has the mouthfeel of all five of your Yahtzee dice.
