The Creative Arts Emmys are held the week before the Other Emmys, which means, yes, on Monday we have a big shebang to cover. It ALSO means that the main titles folks (Severance) and stunt coordinators and composers and such get to have a moment; other winners included Love on the Spectrum, Nathan Lane, Laurie Metcalf, Colman Domingo, and very movingly, Chadwick Boseman. It was for an episode of What If called “What if T’Challa Became Star Lord?” and was obviously recorded before his death — it is cited as his final performance — and released in August of 2021 (animation takes a long time!). It’s hard to know how to pivot from that to talking about dresses, but Chadwick LOVED outfits, so I think he’d be okay with it.
