The Bad Guys is a graphic novel-style book that’s basically about a rogue band of criminals that pretends to reform, and then actually semi-reluctantly does reform. My kids love it. Sadly, a whole passel of the voice actors DIDN’T attend this screening: Sam Rockwell, Awkwafina, Craig Thompson, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade. I can only hope another premiere is coming at which we’ll get the full complement of outfits. Surely Alex and Awkwafina have something dramatic on tap.
