My source for All Things Taylor, my friend Abby (who has a great pop culture-focused newsletter called We Have Notes, which will be of especial interest to you if you love Taylor and/or Harry Styles), informed me today via her Instagram that these Prada boots have been kicking around Taylor’s closet for ages, and haven’t been seen publicly since early 2015. (Her source was Taylor Swift Styled, which is an excellent resource if you ever find yourself wondering who or what T.Swizz is sporting.) AKA, the 1989 era, and, of course, Taylor’s Version of that album comes out today. (FWIW, 1989 is probably my favorite Swift album; I listened to so much Swift when we were writing The Royal We. So I’m very looking forward to this re-release on a personal level.) It’s convenient that knee-high boots are back and while I’m a hoarder and Taylor is surely more of an archivist, I held onto mine too. Vindication! ANYWAY! Swiftie looks cute here — autumnal and scholastic and about five minutes away from getting a PSL and picking some apples.
