Zendaya can pull off nearly anything, and it’s to her credit that this truly enormous lid has not slammed down on her. But it has for sure swollen beyond the point of “dramatic” and into “farcical,” to the point where I cannot look at her and NOT think of this scene from Spaceballs.
Or, almost any scene from Spaceballs. That is a Dark Helmet of a topper if ever I’ve seen one. Although I think if Zendaya were the bad guy in that movie, evil WOULD have triumphed because good would be struck dumb.
