This is a truly gigantic white belt, and one that looks like a desperation play from Sarah and her stylist because the black one they ordered went to the wrong hotel. The outfit doesn’t seem like it was designed to include one at all, and I simultaneously don’t think it needs it, and understand why they thought it might. Overall, it’s very crisp, and very much the exact opposite of the direction she went in next:
This is a VERY bold getup, with a feather look that is actually accomoplished by… is that leather? It’s cool, and damn, does she carry it. My beef — aside from the fact that I don’t think her blush was blended well? — is the shoes. It’s the SHOES, Marty, something’s gotta be done about the shoes! The ONE time a neutral beige shoe would have been a preferred play, although the model in the show went with gold and that also totally flew. No leather-feather puns intended.
