Ryan Murphy has a new show that outwardly looks like such a knockoff of The Substance, but is actually based on a comic book so he can’t take the credit (or blame, I suppose). The synopsis from Wikipedia: “A sexually transmitted treatment known as ‘the Beauty’ spreads rapidly, granting users physical attractiveness through aesthetic-based genetic makeup while concealing lethal side effects that begin to overtake their lives.” So like… The Sex Substance. I’m sure Ryan Murphy will handle this with the utmost sensitivity and nuance. Sigh.
Bella Hadid is listed as a guest. I don’t know what she looks like on the show, obviously, but given the synopsis, it’s interesting that at this premiere she looks like the most generic A.I. simulation of herself.
