These are just a few voices of those that have suffered domestic abuse. . The Duchess of Cornwall has supported a @YOUMagazine feature to raise awareness of @safelives’s ‘Reach In’ campaign, which encourages people to look out for their neighbours, friends and family if they suspect they are suffering from domestic abuse. . HRH The Duchess of Cornwall says: . “SafeLives provides a lifeline to women, men and children who are suffering, or who have suffered, from domestic abuse. “When I first visited them several years ago, I listened to the harrowing stories from these remarkably brave women and I knew that I wanted to do something to help… I very much hope that, after reading their stories, you will want to help too. “During these exceptional times, it is even more important that we all look out for each other. If you think someone you know might be at risk, then please follow the advice from SafeLives and ‘reach in’. It really could make all the difference.” . “We just want lots and lots and lots of these aspiring young writers to enter because, as you said before, some of their stories really are verging on brilliant.” . The Duchess of Cornwall has spoken with author @dwalliams, to discuss The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2020. As Vice-Patron of @royalcommonwealthsociety, The Duchess launched this year’s competition in New Zealand last November. The 2020 theme, “Climate Action and the Commonwealth”, was chosen to draw upon the increasing youth movement across the Commonwealth and the ongoing Climate Crisis. The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay competition is the world’s oldest international schools’ writing competition. The programme provides aspiring young writers with a fantastic opportunity to share their story and have their say on global issues. The Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show is moving online for the first time. . Visit @the_rhs for a unique timetable of events from Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd May, including gardening advice and virtual sessions. The RHS have been supporting gardeners old and new, with more people than ever accessing the advice pages on their website over recent weeks. Her Majesty has been Patron of the Royal Horticultural Society since 1952 – she first attended the show as Monarch in 1955, and has visited almost every year since. “In deze tijd vier ik mijn verjaardag thuis met een typisch Argentijnse lekkernij: Alfajores van dulce de leche. Ik ben met Alfajores opgegroeid, het zijn mijn lievelingskoekjes! Ik bak ze volgens mijn moeders recept, dat ik graag met jullie deel. Zodat je ze ook zelf thuis kunt bakken!” – Máxima Ingrediënten koekjes: · 300 gr maizena · 200 gr bloem · 200 gr roomboter (op kamertemperatuur) · 150 gr suiker · 4 eidooiers · 1 theelepel baking soda (natriumbicarbonaat) · 2 afgestreken theelepels bakpoeder · het merg uit een klein vanillestokje of een snufje vanille poeder · de geraspte schil van 1 citroen · 1 theelepel cognac Ingrediënten vulling: · dulce de leche (kant en klaar of zelf maken met gecondenseerde melk en suiker) · geraspte kokos Bereiding: Verwarm de oven voor op 160 graden. Meng alle droge ingrediënten met de zachte boter in een kom. Voeg de eidooiers en de cognac toe en kneed met de hand tot een stevig deeg. Vorm een bal en leg die ongeveer een uur te rusten. Soms lijkt het alsof het deeg niet aan elkaar kleeft, voeg dan 2 lepels citroensap toe! Rol het deeg uit tot een lap van 5 mm tot 7 mm en steek rondjes deeg uit (met een glas) van ongeveer 4 cm diameter. Leg dan de rondjes op een met bakpapier beklede bakplaat op zo‫’‬n 2 cm afstand van elkaar. Bak de koekjes 10-12 minuten op 160 graden. De koekjes moeten een klein beetje verkleuren, niet te veel anders worden ze te droog en breken ze. Als de koekjes klaar zijn, uit de oven halen en laten afkoelen. Plak steeds twee koekjes met een laag dulce de leche op elkaar. Spreid de dulce de leche goed uit tot aan de rand. Die randen rol je vervolgens door de geraspte kokos. ⁣ Under sloganet ”To the Stars” er det danske esportshold Astralis de seneste år blevet et internationalt storvindende hold med store resultater i computerspillet Counter Strike: Global Offensive.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ For tiden rangerer holdet som verdens bedste, og i dag besøgte Deres Kongelige Højheder Kronprinsen og Prins Christian Astralis-holdet under deres træningsdag i København. Den mentale og fysiske sundhed er afgørende for esportsatleter, når de i konkurrencer på et splitsekund skal tænke klart og analysere, kommunikere og reagere under pres. Derfor foregår meget af holdets forberedelse væk fra computerskærmene og i stedet sammen med fysiske trænere, sportspsykologer og diætister. Under dagens besøg deltog Prins Christian i en række øvelser sammen med Astralis-spillerne Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen og Jakob "JUGi" Hansen. Her blev der gennemgået eksempler på øvelser, man som esportsatlet kan bruge for at præstere bedre, når man sidder i kampe, der kan vare fra én til syv timer.⁣ ⁣ Kongehuset©️⁣
