This is not the most exciting post, sartorially, but it’s a great excuse to talk about Paradise — a show I mostly enjoyed, sometimes in spite of and sometimes because of its unserious choices. All those slow menacing covers of ’80s songs! The wrung-out drama! The terrible finale, coming after a really strong seventh episode! And is it just me, or did they suddenly decide to stop doing anything with Sarah Shahi’s character? At any rate, I enjoyed it even if I did not always like it, and I’ll tune in for season two despite thinking it probably could’ve been stronger as, say, a 12-episode one-and-done. Did you watch?
