Olivia de Havilland — star of The Heiress, The Snake Pit, Gone With the Wind, my personal favorite of the Robin Hood movies which don’t star an animated fox, and many many many other films; a woman famous for breaking Hollywood’s studio system, for not speaking to her famous sister Joan Fontaine for literally decades, and for recently suing Ryan Murphy because she didn’t care for how he used her likeness in Feud  — died in Paris, in her glorious townhouse, in her own bed, on Sunday at the enviable age of 104. If you didn’t read the lengthy interview she gave to Vanity Fair on the occasion of her 99th birthday, it’s so interesting, and well worth your time. Let’s take a look at some of her most memorable red carpet and promotional moments.
