Tiffany Haddish is in that weird phase where the projects she may have had lined up after Girls’ Trip were perhaps booked before she took off like a rocket, and now she’s way more famous but stuck promoting some movies that look vaguely like turkeys. (This one seems like a heavily diluted Girls’ Trip; Night School seems to have done okay, but she cannot have been that stoked to be on the billboards for Uncle Drew.) Also, apparently this is a Tyler Perry movie, but his name isn’t on the title. And when Tyler Perry doesn’t present Tyler Perry Presents Tyler Perry’s Presentation of Tyler Perry’s Nobody’s Fool, does that mean even Tyler Perry has low expectations?
