This GLSEN event took place over the weekend — the traditional pre-Halloween costume party weekend, but as best I can tell Noah is NOT dressed up as anything in particular. Just herself. I’ll do it for her: She’s dressed as Kim Kardashian playing Rapunzel in Tangled 2: The Web We Weave, in which she metaphorically lets her hair down on the Internet/social media and then rues the things that crawl up it into her life. It’s a cautionary tale.
She’s pictured here with musician Orville Peck, and he isn’t in costume EITHER. He always wears masks that have SOMETHING hanging over the lower part of his face. I don’t have a good explanation for why this particular one looks like two enormous tampon strings. I don’t want to know what THAT fairy tale reference would be.
