I have a few suggestions in here — including one plea to Duchess Kate — but obviously, only a very few people in the world would ever wear the most OTT of these. I could see Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Gaga, maybe Miley, and Lizzo. Have I missed anyone? Rita Ora, possibly. Vanessa Hudgens if she’s in that mood and has the right phone numbers. It would be great if Celine Dion or Anne Hathaway or Florence Pugh or Meryl or Imelda Staunton went off the rails, but we may not want to hold our collective breaths on that. So, enjoy this costume ode to what I think we can all agree is clearly Medieval asceticism.
