When I saw this event had happened, I thought, “Oh, that’s the movie where I think, ‘Didn’t we already have American Sniper,’ and then it turns out it’s from the people behind American Sniper.” But it’s not. THAT one is called Thank You For Your Service; this one is Only the Brave, about the Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighting team. Miles Teller seems to like playing square-jawed heroes who specialize in artful beads of sweat. I like him better when he’s playing a jerk. It’s an easier sell.
