I often say the same thing about Rodarte that I do about Versace, which is: When they’re not stuck on a space shuttle to Planet Crackballs, there is SUCH elegant work happening. Somehow the slightly textural dot on the skirt and the flowers and the color give this so much interest and grace, without being nonsensical. And it’s got a faint skating costume quality to it.
