Lizzo hosted and was the musical guest this weekend on SNL, which means we get some delightful photos of her coming and going from buildings — and two clips of her performing, one of which opens with an instantly iconic introduction: “Ladies and gentlemen… me!” Here:
I haven’t yet seen her competition show, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, but it’s the search for her backup dancers and apparently it’s terrific. Lizzo has a ton of charisma, so it makes sense that she can carry a show. I just need to get through Big Brother Canada and Outlander first.

That pink is of course the color of the moment still, forever; I don’t know if that’s actually Valentino (it’s not from the pink show; it could be custom?) but it might as well be. I’m sure they’ll get the credit in most people’s minds even if they didn’t make it.

Lizzo has so much charisma. Have HER host the Oscars. Except, it’s a thankless job and I don’t want to saddle her with that. But I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she hosts the VMAs, or MTV Movie Awards, at some point.
