Jess mentioned this in another post, but Lily is promoting a LOT right now — here, it’s Tolkein — and on top of it went to the Met Gala on Monday. Yet she still looks very rested and refreshed. I would look like a shriveled husk of a person, even more so than usual. Anyway, after last night’s large Giambattista Valli, she got to give her bod a break in what I assume was a substantially lighter Oscar de la Renta. It’s cute, and looks better on her than it did on the runway, in part because she noodled with the hemline. It also reminds me of a magic carpet, which is apt. If anyone deserves to sit on something comfortable and get whisked away by a spunky yet attractive pilot, it’s someone who’s as busy as she’s been.
