First of all, I’m losing a step. I just went On The Internet to try to figure out what Keri Russell’s been promoting — it’s Burn This, the play she’s in with Adam Driver. I never understand why celebs promote theatre on national television; I LOVE live theatre, but only a very small percentage of the TV audience for the late night chat shows are even in New York, so…I don’t get it. I mean, I DO get it in the sense that Stephen Colbert needs guests and Keri Russell is a real celebrity, but literally anyone who is going to go to Burn This knows about it. BUT THAT’S NOT EVEN WHAT I CAME IN HERE TO TALK ABOUT. It’s that Keri Russell is apparently in the new Star Wars movie? I mean, good for her, and I’m jealous that she gets to spend THIS much time with Adam Driver, but…where have I been? Perhaps off on the moon with the person who decided THOSE interesting shoes were the ones to enliven that jumpsuit. (I agree with AN interesting shoes, but I think the proportions of the boots are weird with the length of the pants.)
