Informative Caption on this photo — the real one, not our post (in which I wondered when we’d never get to read Bai’s book, Nipples, which never did materialize; Bai, we need Nipples now more than ever) — informs me that this happened at “Nylon Magazine’s 11th Birthday party at Trousdale Nightclub,” and there is perhaps no more 2010 sentence than that. Neither Nylon’s print version nor Trousdale exist anymore. But Bai Ling does, and so, I suspect, does this jacket. And it extra apt that the traditional 10th anniversary gift is aluminum, as that may be of what it was originally composed. Wear it now, Bai Ling, wherever you are, and may it be in good health!
