As we cruise into the gentle holiday lull, I thought I’d let you know that Leighton Meester — who’s in a seasonal rom-com on Amazon Freevee — was just out there rocking a sexy dress and great lipstick. She is my eternal example of someone who deserves a plum TV role and hasn’t gotten one since Blair Waldorf (no offense to her defunct sitcom, Single Parents, which I know people enjoyed, but it can’t beat Blair). Maybe she’s doing the exact amount of work she’s willing and able to, but if not, then that’s going on my 2024 wish list.
