Several movies hit the screen on Thursday: The Card Counter, Land of Dreams, The Hand of God, and Jane Campion’s newest, whose title I have to look up but I am mentally calling it Kirsten Dunst Has Entered the Oscars Chat. I hope this does not go the way of Hustlers — not that the movies are similar, but that the buzz was strong for J.Lo and then went poof — and that Kirsten’s stylist is getting ready. It really feels right for Torrance Shipman to win an Oscar, although of course it would be even more fitting if Gabrielle Union pipped her at the post.
