Kelly Marie Tran, a.k.a. the woefully used Rose Tico in the last two of the latest Star Wars movies (I really liked her, but J.J. Abrams sure hosed her and Boyega in the third one), is promoting Raya and the Last Dragon. And cue the usual refrain about how I’m so sad we aren’t getting the usual red carpets, because Kelly has looked magnificent on them in the past, but BLESS HER for busting out a premiere-worthy gown even just to drop in on a talk show:

Michael Cinco does gorgeous work, and this reverse tequila sunrise of a frock is no exception. There is another outfit in the carousel that I love less — a great gold skirt, and a perilously cropped white tee, so I’m just going to dial in on the fact that this would be SO FUN to twirl around in and then maybe fall over and have co-star Daniel Dae Kim catch me. I mean, her. Her. Obviously.
