Katy Perry evidently participated, or is participating, in the SpaceX broadcast. I’m not sure if she was on-air once already and wore this, or if she was dressed and ready to go but they bumped her (no pregnancy pun intended) until the actual launch, which, by the way, is probably getting delayed AGAIN. Florida weather is REALLY not cooperating with live events right now, which is the most Florida thing ever.
Ahem. So either Katy wore this on Wednesday, or she’s giving us a sneak peek of what’s to come whenever this thing does go up:

If there is one thing we can rely on, it’s Katy Perry leaning deeply into the moment. This looks like it’s made of the silver insulation that’s inside some of my reusable grocery/cooler bags, which I imagine WOULD show up in a space shuttle somewhere, like as the bags in which they keep their freaky freeze-dried space food. Or as the actual insulation if it was made in a hurry, on the cheap. Maybe it’s keeping HER insulated. I don’t know. But at this point we all just need Boden and Old Navy to pivot STRAIGHT to making knockoffs of this, to enable me to swan around in the manner in which I desire.
