Several folks sent this to us and noted that Katie appears to be in costume as the late great Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and I don’t deny this, and honestly, I don’t think she would either. (Her dress is actually, I think, meant to be a long, sequined take on a Fair Isle sweater, which is also, objectively, kooky — as much as I love a Fair Isle.) (W called it a muumuu.) But I also ran this to note that her parents, Kathleen Holmes and Martin Holmes, look very charming and nice and I think Martin Holmes, in particular, deserves a MASSIVE STANDING OVATION for his masterful legal extraction of Katie from her marriage to Tom Cruise. A night at the ballet is a nice start, too!
