Jeez, we had a lot of royal action over the last several days. I can think of several people who could use a nap! Anyway, this is a reception at Buckingham Palace honoring the 25th anniversary of Place2Be, one of Kate’s favorite charities (it focuses on childhood mental health), and she opted for Jenny Packham, that old reliable friend — with good results, as this is very pretty pretty princess, which feels right for hosting a lot of little kids at a palace! (You may remember this from their trip to India, where she wore it with a shawl; as I predicted there, the fullness of time did eventually reveal this to me without it.)
