Listen, she’s gorgeous and this dress is — although VERY perilous around the nipples — glam as hell. However, I need to know:

Is that just a random artsy hand positioning, or is she actually making the "call me" signal?

The profile is excellent — it’s unusually long, which is a pleasant surprise; she really gave them stuff to write about, and, like actual Willie Nelson gave comment — and makes the new album sound like it’s going to be fantastic. She’s very honest about her divorce, and her art:

The other night, Musgraves woke up at 2 a.m. with an ache in the pit of her stomach, worrying about how the album might be received. “It’s daunting to put your emotions about something really personal on display,” she says. “I haven’t spoken much about this chapter, and I don’t feel like I owe that to anyone, but I owe it to myself as a creator to flesh out all these emotions that I’ve felt, and I do that through song. It would be strange if I didn’t acknowledge what happened in my life creatively, but it is scary to be like, ‘I’m about to share my most personal thoughts about me, about this other person, about a union that I had with someone.’ I mean, I’m not a ruthless person. I care about other people’s feelings. So it’s kind of scary.”

It’s a good read. Flip over to look at the rest of the editorial, and I’m going to let Kacey have the last word here:
