I am all for the deep forest green, and there’s an elegance to this even with the collar that looks like she might have made and attached it herself. But I cannot get over the pocket placement. I assume they’re part of a jacket that’s tucked into a skirt, and that’s why they’re so high, but to me it’s also exhibit A why pockets on the red carpet can be a trap. When she stands there with her hands wedged into them, she looks like she’s trying to multitask: Attend her movie premiere AND perform a quick breast self-exam. Okay, fine, that’s too low for her boobs, but “check that her ribs are intact” didn’t have the same ring to it.
