From the reviews I’ve seen of The New Look, the new Apple series is NOT trying to pretend Coco Chanel wasn’t a raging Nazi, so I am relieved. If they were whitewashing Nazi activity, then it’d be harder to enjoy Juliette swanning around in that celebratory hat. Now I can just enjoy that she looks like her nemesis died and that she showed up to the funeral to pour a martini into the open casket and purr, “Rest in sauce, Ratface.”
