I don’t know if Vogue will attempt any kind of CFDA/Fashion Fund dinner this year. They switched up the format for 2021 and announced that grants would be given to all ten finalists — you can read about them all here — rather than simply a top three. More finalists, more party, right? Yes? Is it too soon to wish for that? In lieu of a new event, we can look back on what happened two years ago, for which a highlight is Ashley Graham looking like an Alexis Carrington Colby protege and a lowlight is Emily Ratajkowski looking like her community theatre production of Pirates of Penzance ran out of funding midway through the matinee.
