We have J.Law in a fun and flirty Alaia at a photocall for No Hard Feelings in Spain, which I actually like on her although I am perplexed by those kitten heels. Isn’t the obvious call for that dress some flats? Or even espadrilles? Or wedges? I am gonna start just listing random kinds of shoes that aren’t black patent kitten heels now. Cowboy foots. Flip-flops. Gladiator sandals. Oxfords. Brogues. Anyway, the point is that I like it from the ankles up and that’s at least a B+ grade.
This is where our scrolling journey begins. Forever, yesterday, the only photo I had of the premiere was this and I was like, “weird, I wish I could see it head on!”
Then this one came in and I was like, “at least the structure on this is interesting and her co-star’s blazer is rad.”
HOURS LATER, this arrived and she looks alarmed here but there is nothing alarming happening:
I don’t LOVE that dress because it sort of feels like she’s wearing a fancy Manilla envelope, but I appreciate that it’s kind of weird in a way that is at least interesting and it’s structurally compelling.

And this final — I HOPE!!!!– angle is fascinating, in a good way. I don’t know if I think this works but I do think it’s intriguing? Which is not always a bad thing.
