You know how sometimes, at a bridal shower, you’re asked to make gowns out of toilet paper? This is like that, except the person who made it is your genius cousin who got a full scholarship to Parsons and is now running the show over at a major design label, and none of the rest of you ever had a chance to win.
We got a shot from the designer of the dress as it was originally shown, and she made some changes that I think were pretty smart:
Namely, she axed the train — which I think is lovely, but for sure makes this a wedding dress — and swapped out the belt for a black one, while keeping the black shoes. I personally might have left this belt and swapped the shoes, but maybe that felt too summer-y? LET’S DISCUSS.
